The Art of Questioning
Master the ancient art of questioning that exposes contradictions in beliefs and leads to deeper understanding. Learn to ask the questions that matter.
"I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think."
The Socratic method, also called elenchus (refutation), is my way of examining beliefs through persistent questioning. I do not claim to teach anything—I merely help others discover what they already know, or realize what they do not know.
The process works like this: I ask what something is (What is justice? What is courage?), then I examine the answer for contradictions. Through this cross-examination, false beliefs are exposed and the path to truth becomes clearer.
This is the midwife's art (maieutics)—I help others give birth to their own ideas. The goal is not to win arguments but to seek truth together. Through this method, you will learn to question everything, including your most cherished assumptions.
